October 24, 2007 – Solo performance Seule la main… with recorded music by Stefan Smulovitz, at the Claude Jutras Theater, Cinémathèque Québécoise. It is the opening event of the colloquium Pratiques orales du cinéma.
October 17, 2007– In the October/November issue of the film magazine 24 Images, there is a DVD edition of the Seule la main… performance (the 26/03/87 Beyrouth version) in the included DVD (Chutes et brûlures, 8 experimental films). There are also three articles about Pierre Hébert : Pierre Hébert en DVD by Marco de Blois, Pierre Hébert au Liban by Fabien Philippe and Seule la main… by Marcel Jean.
October 17, 2007 – During the Festival du nouveau cinéma, I will present a performance with the musicians Robert Marcel Lepage and René Lussier (my early collaborators of the first performances presented in 1984, among other venues at Cinema Outremont). We will revisit Songs and Dances of the Inanimate World – the Subway. The performance will be presented at the SAT (Société des arts technologiques).

October 2007 -My new film Herqueville will be part of the program of Le Festival du Nouveau Cinéma (10-21 October) in Montreal.
October 2007 – During the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma, the National Film Board of Canada will release the 3 DVD’s set entitled Pierre Hébert, the science of moving images. The set will include most of my films produced by the NFB, and some earlier and later films, a CD with the music of Population Explosion by Ornette Coleman, and a 100 pages brochure.
September 26, 2007 my new film Herquevilleis finished. It is a 21 minutes new film entitled Herqueville, in a HD 720p24 format. It includes prints by Michelle Corvisier, poems by Serge Meurant (whith whom I collaborated in 1984 for my film Étienne et Sara) and music by Fred Frith. It was shot in Herqueville, a village in Normandy situated downhill from the french nuclear wastes processing plant.

May 4, 2007 – San Francisco International Film Festival. Presentation of a new Living Cinema performance , Special Forces, with Bob Ostertag, at the SFMOMA (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art), San Francisco, USA.
