October 3 2009 Only the hand... solo performance (Sol la man...in Romagnolo, the regional vernacular idiom of Meldola) and 'Animation Exercise with Andrea Martignoni, at Area Sismica, Meldola (Forli), Italia. This time, Animation exercise will consist of a combination on the same screen of live scratched animation and dry erase markers live animation assisted by computer. I will alternatively work with the two techniques. It is going to be my first live scratched animation performance since Rome in 2002 and the first time I combine those two techniques in the course of the same performance. SEE THE VIDEO.

February 14 2009 Performance with Stefan Smulovitz and Viviane Houle, 15e Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois et francophone de Vancouver, at Performance Works on Granville Island, Vancouver. After nine solo presentation in different countries with recorded music, the piece Only the hand... which was originally performed with Stefan Smulowitz in February 2007 at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, will be performed again, this time in Lakota (a native north american language) with live music in Vancouver.
